The HPS Custom Rackmount Chassis Housing is a bare metal enclosure engineered for industrial servers and telecommunication equipment. 

Delivered as an empty structural shell without electronic components, this unit is fabricated from Electro-Galvanized Steel (SECC) or Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel (SGCC). 

HPS utilizes Trumpf TruPunch and TruBend technology to achieve precision motherboard standoffs and I/O cutouts with a tolerance of ±0.1mm. 

The unpainted, conductive surface acts as a natural Faraday cage, providing essential EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) shielding for your integrated hardware. 

Produced in our Xiamen facility under ISO 9001/IATF 16949 protocols, we offer full OEM customization for 1U, 2U, and 4U configurations.

EMI/EMC Shielding Design: Fabricated from SECC (Electro-Galvanized Steel) or SGCC, the raw metal edges and contact points are kept conductive. This creates a grounded enclosure (Faraday cage) that effectively blocks electromagnetic interference, essential for passing strict FCC/CE certifications for your final server product.

 

Precision I/O Cutouts: We utilize Trumpf TruPunch machines to create rear I/O windows and connector holes with ±0.1mm accuracy. This ensures your motherboards (ATX/Micro-ATX) and expansion cards align perfectly without requiring manual filing during assembly.

 

High-Flow Ventilation: The chassis features CNC-punched honeycomb or slotted perforation patterns. This design maximizes airflow for internal cooling fans while maintaining structural strength and preventing RF leakage.

 

Rigid Drive Bay Structure: The internal drive cages and partition dividers are formed with stiffening ribs and hemmed edges (safety edges). This heavy-duty construction minimizes vibration, protecting sensitive HDDs and components from mechanical shock.

 

Modular Assembly: The housing is designed with removable lids, slide-out trays, and ear brackets. We use riveting (TOX/PEM) and screw fastening rather than permanent welding where possible, allowing for easier maintenance and component upgrades.

Q: Does this chassis come with power supplies or fans? 

A: No, HPS supplies the bare metal chassis housing only. We fabricate the structural shell, including the base, cover, and internal brackets. The integrator (customer) is responsible for installing the power supply unit (PSU), fans, motherboard, and cabling.

 

Q: Can you customize the rear I/O panel for my specific motherboard? 

A: Yes, as an OEM sheet metal manufacturer, we customize the rear window layout based on your specific PCB design or I/O shield requirements. We accept STEP, DWG, and DXF files for production.

 

Q: What is the advantage of using SECC material for server cases? 

A: SECC (Electro-Galvanized Steel) is the industry standard for server chassis because it offers excellent corrosion resistance and, unlike painted steel, maintains surface conductivity at cut edges and joints. This conductivity is critical for grounding and EMI shielding performance.
